For years we built IFRS 9 models, stress testing models and ICAAP frameworks for institutions across the region — each one in Excel, each one rebuilt from the beginning, each one dependent on the person who built it. The methodology was sound. The delivery mechanism was not.
Our platforms are what that practice becomes when it stops being rebuilt from scratch. The credit logic inside them is the logic we apply in the field, maintained by the same people. That is the difference between software written by engineers who consulted a specification, and software written by the people who wrote the specification.
